The Eden Elementary YMCA After School program (which includes grades k-3) raised money for our shelter collecting aluminum cans. They collected the cans, took them to be recycled and donated the money to the Hancock County Humane Society. Volunteers from the HCHS gave a brief presentation to the group when they accepted the check. The kids also decorated for our shelter, and you can check out their artwork during our open hours.
